Made in collaboration with ICE-SAR (Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue), several timepieces from the ICE-SAR Arctic 1000 series became the Official Spartan Watch and Official Timing Partner of the Spartan Race, the world's largest obstacle race and endurance brand. This Spartan watch features a 46 mm CARBONOX case, an ultra-lightweight carbon compound material, with a matte black dial and white carabiner-style hands, inspired by carabiners the team uses during rescue missions and white Arabic numerals in 12- and 24-hour formats. These are equipped with tritium-based luminescent tubes. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, a fixed CARBONOX bezel with a 60-minute scale, and a date window at the 3 o'clock position. Touches of white and red are evident via the dial texts and markers, seconds hand, bezel markers, Luminox shield, and the Spartan Race logo. A black genuine rubber strap with textile inlay and black stitching is secured by a CARBONOX buckle and completes the tough and versatile look. This watch has a solid caseback inscribed with the Spartan Race logo and 'Official Watch' designation wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 515 HF 6, a Swiss quartz movement that is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
